We’re a mixed-race couple
that shares a love for the beach,
our babies, and each other.
Our life motto is,
“Anything is possible."
Our marriage motto is,
“Love them at their least lovable."
Our parenting motto is,
“Keep it simple, stupid.”
It's ok, you can steal these.

Hello There!
Being half Black and Filipino I never fit into one box, literally, I’ve never checked that one box on the paper. It's no wonder I’m a multi-hyphenate mama, wife, activist, entrepreneur and indie film and documentary producer. I believe you don’t have to be defined by one dream or one job title for your entire life. Life is too short. Originally from the warm waters of Clearwater, FL that mindset has taken me to the nor'easters at Boston College, to living the single-life in New York City. I now reside in Los Angeles with my dream family and amazing weather. You can take the girl away from the beach but not the beach away from the girl.
“Love recognizes no barriers.
It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls
to arrive at its destination full of hope."
My life was pretty much a John Hughes movie until I left my hometown of Cleveland, OH after high school and joined the Marine Corps. It’s been a series of twists and turns ever since. Moved to Alaska after the military, came back home, graduated college with a theatre major and dance minor, co-founded a professional theatre company, then moved to California. Along the way I started a career in corporate recruiting and have been doing that for over 20 years. See how it all fits together? I don’t either. A little over a decade ago, I met the woman of my dreams, got married (the proposal in the Philippines was a nail-biter) and had two beautiful kids.
